We’ve gone and booked it! A two month journey in planes, trains, and automobiles. This (Northern Hemisphere) spring we’re heading off to spend a bit of time adventuring. We hope to catch up with friends and family and meet strangers who will soon become both! Whether on the other side of the world or this one…we’re ready for the adventure.
“Live, Travel, Adventure, Bless and don’t be sorry” – Jack Kerouac
First stop – Melbourne! After a bit of a visit, we journey to the red center to check out ‘The Red Rock’, hang with swags, spiders, and Aborigines and celebrate life in the land of the Dreamtime…I can’t wait! Next, we’ll traverse the globe and land at the rushing spectacle of Niagara Falls in Toronto, Canada. Hopping a train to New York we’ll begin the next phase of the trek.
“Adventure is worthwhile” – Aesop
For just over a month, we’ve decided to wiggle our way to and fro around the northern-ish route of the United States with (we hope) a dip across the border into the Canadian rockies. The route is only somewhat planned – leaving room for spontaneity and of course, your suggestions. We hope to spend time at national parks, snap photos at those quirky roadside attractions and maybe even have a catch at the Field of Dreams. Potential stops include Chicago, Rapid City, Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park, Banff, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Yosemite National Park and some magical bits in between. Help us map out the journey and add your input. We’re interested in your favourite food stops, roadside photo spots, camping haunts, best wildlife viewing and nuggets of fun along the way.
“As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen” – Winnie the Pooh
Follow along on our adventures and if you happen to be nearby, we’d love to meet up. When we’re back in San Diego we are always happy to connect. Be a part of the adventure…we’d love to have you.
